In 1929 the Tudor house, now known as Agecroft Hall, was moved from its original site in Lancashire, England to its current location on the James River. The interior is a treasure trove of fixtures, antiques, period attractions and furnishings dating from 1485 to 1660, while the gardens were designed by landscape artist Charles Gillette to be reminiscent of those found at England's Hampton Court Palace.
